Easy Way To Solve The Kneeling Controversy

My solution would take two years.

1. All pro teams must be on the field/rink/court etc. for the playing of the Anthem or God Bless America.
A letter to each of the professional league home offices would explain that failure to do so should
constitute game forfeiture. The letter would further advise that it wouldn't matter what individual
players or coaches did during the salute to the flag. The protests could continue.
2. That rule in place, it would be a no brainier for the IRS to draw up a list of members of the various sports
teams that should be targeted for an in depth tax audit. The reasoning behind the audit would be that if
no respect is shown for our National Symbol the same disrespect probably would be shown for a tax return.
Like cheating your ass off.

All the snowflakes reading this can now gasp or sigh or cry.
Hey, the IRS routinely goes after suspected mobsters just based on a similar logic.
I'm not saying that protesting athletes and coaches have to love the United States....just display a little respect or they just
might get audited.

Good god. Can you conservative snowflakes not stop crying over your poor little flag. Hell, you spit on your government daily so why the obsession with the flag? Do you think government and flag don't somehow connect together? And tell me, what is the military fighting for if not the right to protest? Are our rights suppose to only exist if they don't bother you fricking snowflake conservative's? You sit there and snicker and call liberal snowflakes when you are the bunch of melting snowflakes of them all. Christ--'Were going to have the IRS audit if you don't behave like we want.' Well, as the great man once said--FU--the Nationalistic country you conservative Snowflakes want to create doesn't deserve to any respect. If you can't deal with that maybe you're the ones who need to be audited...

Although I have already expressed that I do not agree with the protests, I thoroughly disagree with using the IRS as a form of government suppression and prosecution.

Set up a system of suspensions for those who do not stand. They's stand, or not play.....and not get their sky high salaries.

Hey fascist Pete, did you beat up any "fricking snowflake conservatives" lately? You are a real tough guy, aren't you -- a typical fascist! Here are a few points for you to consider.

1. These overpaid football players signed contracts with their owners. Those contracts have rules stating that players must be on the field and "standing" with their hands over their hearts during the playing of the national anthem. Violations of rules generally result in some kind of discipline, but these dummies think they are immune from discipline.

2. These dummies are free to "protest" anytime the want and anywhere they want, as long as it is not in violation of the contracts that they signed with their team owners.

3. Yes, our military fights for the right to protest (the only correct part of your banter), but protest has a proper time and place -- refer back to part 2. Furthermore, the flag and the anthem represent our nation and the people within, not necessarily the government. The government is there to protect and serve the people, including peoples of all colors, religions, and political persuasions, even fascists like you. And to a great part, the flag and anthem represent hundreds of thousands of warriors who fought and died to preserve freedom. To disrespect them during the playing of the national anthem is disgusting.

4. The so-called "protest" is bogus. The claim is that 26 percent of police shootings kill blacks while only 13 percent of the population is black. BUT, 28 percent of all crimes are committed by blacks. If you are caught committing a crime, your likelihood of being shot by the police is far greater than someone not committing a crime. SO, 26 percent of police shootings targeting blacks is not surprising compared with 28 percent of crimes being committed by blacks.

As do I.. we’ve had that take place with the refusal to grant exempt status to non profits applying for it under the Dems reign in office.. And then targeting of certain people as well..
We need not stoop to their level we simply break the NFL financially..

I thought the NFL already had rules in place re player conduct? I guess they just refuse to enforce them for fear of "offending " someone. Kinda like the former administration refusing to enforce immigration laws...

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day Linda. I'm going to deep fry one and slow grill one. Might be eating turkey sandwiches until Christmas.
