Even if it were declared that we were being given the facts on JFK s assassination, who on this planet would believe it to be true. We have been lied to so often for so long, I don't know what to believe anymore. But since they've waited so long to divulge this info and still won't release it, it must be really big. Bigger than Lyndon Johnson or Lee Harvey Oswald. It's really agonizing when you can't believe anything you read anywhere.

I haven't seen it yet. Saw something about it yesterday, and they were saying that Lee Harvey Oswald was basically just a guy that wanted to kill someone. I don't believe that for one minute.

I believe Oswald was the lone shooter. Most of the information not released is for National Security (so they tell us) reasons. More than likely it reflects poorly on the FBI and CIA for not keeping tabs on Oswald; it is just plain embarrassing. Fact is, we will never know the truth and/or motive for certain because Oswald took that to his grave. Even if he didn't, we will never learn the truth because the government is afraid we can't handle the truth. After Jack Ruby shot Oswald, J Edgar Hoover was incensed with Dallas P.D. for letting it happen. Both he and LBJ were afraid that people would blame either Russia, Cuba, the Mafia, or Mexico, and want retaliation. It will be a couple centuries before the historians get all the information and can say with some degree of certainty what happen. By then it won't matter. It will just be a historical footnote if the real reason is ever actually revealed. As it now stands, there will be more useless conspiracy stories to come out. Since we can't trust the government to be honest, they will live up to our expectation. I won't lose sleep over it and anyone espousing more conspiracy theories is wasting theirs and everyone's time. There is no point in ruminating about any of it beyond only what is factual.
