Did you know the US of A has its own Loch Ness Monster

A mile from my house is Flathead Lake, a beautiful place in "Motana." A creature similar to its Scottish cousin was sighted there in 1889, and there have been many since. In 2010 (yes, we had been drinking), we saw a sudden break in the water about 200 yards from shore. Just an eruption of spray breaking the calm surface. No creature. But it was an unnatural disturbance. No explanation. We both strained our eyes to see what may have caused it, in unison leaning forward in an attempt to get a better view. Nothing. Then we threw our heads back and looked at each, as if to say, "Did you see that too." Then we both laughed, looked down at the beer in our hands, and shrugged. Never saw it before and never saw it again. Yet it makes me wonder if we may too often dismiss evidence of "something other" simply because we are told it is not possible. All those things caught out of the corner of our eye or briefly glimpsed that are gone after we blink. Were they there?

Haha, thank you. I get too rational at times, rigid. Yet there is this suppressed mystic in me that quarrels with my Reason to take another undisciplined look. Short argument.

There is also one in Lake Champlain (known as "Champ") between New York and Vermont. There have been several sightings and photos of that one. My father thinks he may have seen it once.

I was just at Loch Ness in may this year, took a boat tour. I didn’t see anything special in the water, but the Loch is a beautiful, primal wonderful place. I personally believe in the possibility of creatures lasting in places like this. I hope there is because it would make this Earth a more vital and interesting place. I think there is more we don’t know about Earth than we do know. I would love to visit your lake.

USA has her own Loch Ness Monster. Yes, that is Hillary Clinton, and her body guard all in cahoots with each other.

Yes, oh yes, I agree. Perfectly put. Stranger than fiction. Come visit.
