I love wine but I don't buy it because I can't drink just one glass, it raises my blood sugar and nothing gives me a worse hangover than to get drunk on wine.

You can drink an Old Country wine as much as you like. BUT American wines will always give you a hangover. I asked a wine dealer and he suggested that before drinking an American wine, take an anti-histamine. This is because American wineries use histamines to "age" their wines. This is because American wines are "aged?" in steel drums rather than the wooden barrels used in Europe where the wine is aged naturally. Have you noticed that there are no dated American wines?

Thanks, that's interesting. I really don't know anything about wine except how to open it. I have been stuck without a cork screw and had to drive the cork into the bottle to get to the wine.
