Yeshua ha Mashiach
Translation: Jesus the Messiah

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” Romans 5:8-10

This world is in trouble. It’s actually been in trouble for many thousands of years, but we can look around and see that sin is growing by leaps and bounds. Sadly, it’s growing within Christian congregations as well as in the secular world. Instead of having a clear understanding of right and wrong as established by God, people today see shades of gray. What is unacceptable by God’s perfect standards is now the “new norm” and some people say that the Bible needs to be updated. “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20

God’s word never changes and people need to study Scripture and understand what God says is evil, dark, and bitter and turn away from it. Stop and think for a moment about things that are clearly sins according to Biblical truth but are considered acceptable by humans. Murder is a sin, but abortion is acceptable to many people. One man/one woman marriage was established by God in the Garden of Eden, but this holy union is not honored in the world. We try so hard not to judge that we forget that God gives us the criteria to judge, not to condemn but to discern. “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” John 7:24

God is very clear in His word about sin. He is also very clear that there is only one remedy for sin. That remedy is faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As Christians we are to turn from sin and turn to Jesus. Salvation can only be found in the true and honest acceptance of the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. He shed His blood to take our sin away. No sin is too big for Him to forgive, but His sacrifice must be accepted. Religious rites and works won’t bring salvation...only honest faith.

Most of us are nice people. We try to keep the 10 Commandments but interpret them to our own advantage. When we slip and break one of those rules of life, we usually think that God will understand and we laugh it off. “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” James 1:14-15

Do you swipe money from the company’s petty cash box? That’s a sin just like robbing a bank. In fact, even thinking about a sin is as bad as actually committing it. We cannot control our lust through our own strength but only through the power of the Holy Spirit. Sin is ugly and as Christians we need to honor God in all we do. When we stumble in our walk with Christ we need to ask to be forgiven. Only Christ can forgive our sin because it’s only through Him that salvation can be found. Maybe we excuse our choice of wrongdoing by comparing ourselves with other people around us. What a mistake that is. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23

The people around us are sinners just like we are so they can’t be our example. Study Scripture to determine right and wrong. Look to Jesus for your example instead of looking to a sinner like you. When we look at things from God’s perspective we can see that our own efforts, and the efforts of others, at being a good person fall far short of the standards of the perfect God. Is there any hope for us? Our only hope and our only remedy for the sin we live in is the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ.

Mankind has always known God exists but has found many erroneous ways to attempt to reach Him. These ways only lead to destruction. Religion can never bring salvation. From the Jewish attempts to keep the Law to Catholic rituals, works don’t equal faith and only faith in Christ will save. Some people try to be good enough through works while others put their hope in rituals. Salvation is not found in rituals or works of any kind, but only through Jesus Christ “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began” 2 Timothy 1:9

Salvation has always been by faith. Read Hebrews chapter 11 to see that it was by faith that the Old Testament heroes were saved. The Law which God gave to Moses was a schoolmaster to teach His ideals. Salvation could never come through the rituals or religiously following the Law. The blood sacrifice of animals could only cover sin temporarily, but only the shed blood of Jesus can take sin away. Many of the Jewish laws were given for health reasons, but they also served to separate God’s chosen people from the pagan lifestyle around them. Christians are also called to be separate from the worldly ways of the people around us, and we are to live our lives to honor our Lord. Not in a ritualistic way, but so that our faith is evident in our way of life.

Following pagan practices is in direct opposition to serving Christ. Many congregations embrace yoga, contemplative prayer, meditation, and other satanic practices. By attempting to empty our minds of thought we open ourselves to demonic entry into our minds. We are to meditate upon God’s word but not through mindless emptying of our conscience self. Instead of emptying our minds we are to be sure our thoughts are on Jesus. “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:5

When we accept Christ we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and we need to listen to His guidance. Scripture will become alive when read with the understanding given by the Holy Spirit. Buddha, Mohammad, Confucius, and other satanic cultists have all died without accepting Christ’s gift of salvation. They are dead. Only Jesus Christ left an empty tomb and sacrificed Himself to give us the way…the only way…for salvation. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 Only Jesus Christ is God Almighty. Only Jesus Christ will bring salvation.

Today it seems as if many who claim to be Christians believe that the finished work of Christ on the cross is insufficient for salvation. Many try to add individual works to Christ’s shed blood, as if baptism will save you or saying a Rosary has any power. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

If you have been baptized but haven’t accepted Christ for salvation then the baptism means nothing. Some try to incorporate keeping the Jewish Law into the freedom we have in Christ. Learning about Jewish feasts can be very meaningful and give a deeper meaning to God’s plan, but the ritualistic keeping of those feasts in the false hope of being more spiritual is an affront to Christ’s finished work on the Cross. “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.” Galatians 3:24-25

By all means study the Law, read the Torah and begin to appreciate the grace of God through Jesus. Jesus fulfilled the Law and the Prophets and salvation is found only through Jesus Christ. Anything you try to add to His sacrifice dishonors Him.

Good works should be a result of the love we have for Jesus and thankfulness for what He did for us. “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” James 2:20

We serve a living Savior, so dead faith does not honor Him. When you do a kindness towards another person, be sure that you’re doing it for Christ. If you do a good work to bring glory and compliments to yourself then it’s meaningless in an eternal sense. Jesus said “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

The works you do should all glorify God the Father and result from the love you have for Jesus. When you give Him the glory for your good works, He is glorified rather than your own ego. People around you need to hear that you serve Jesus and that it’s in His name you do good. Will they mock you? Some will, but if even one person can come to salvation through Jesus because they see what He has done in you then your works will have paid off. The lost world needs to find Jesus and if you don’t introduce your friends and family to Him, who will? Everyone is lost without Jesus.

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 Don’t place your faith in works or false gods or in religion. Salvation is only through faith in Jesus.

mwdegutis,

Still the Anti-Cathoic and Jewish, Moniker . . . We continually see . . . on the OPP forum.

At least your consistently wrong, . . . "Stand up and take a bow," regarding your personal Evangelical religious hubris . . .

Titivillus: The Devil Made me do it!
http://www.preces-latinae.org/thesaurus/Introductio/Titivillus.html

And you really must read, what you write, in your post articles on the OPP forum . . .

There seem's to be a problem here Houston, . . . with your Evangelical thinking . . .

Your nothing but a zealot religious Evangelical hypocrite . . . nothing more and nothing less . . . What a coward . . .

Here are several example's Evangelical Anti-Cathoic and Jewish biases':

1. Catholic rituals, . . . Jewish rituals . . .

2. The Importance of Mary in Christianity, . . .

3. "Good Work's" found in this article and previously other article posting's . . .

Hmmm, Catholic rituals, . . . Jewish rituals. ? Just another error in your mindset and religious Evangelical thinking . . .

a. Hypothetically, Jesus's mother and Father were Jewish, so that makes Jesus Jewish. Am I right . . . ? The Answer is Yes . . .

The Gospels Scripture's states emphatically that Jesus adhered to the Jewish law, rituals, traditions and customs, as required in the Torah. . .?

Why do you think that Jesus Christ practiced and performed these symbolic Jewish religious rituals, because his religious nature was Jewish?

mwdegutis,, You just can't disavow Jesus's Jewishness to his Christian Church, and Pauline Jewishness to Christianity . . . Their "One and the Same . . .

Have you ever heard of the Christian High Mass, and the Christian Low Mass . . . ? . . . And what separates the two . . . ?

These Jewish religious rituals have been grafted into the Christian-Jewish church . . . Orthodox, Roman Catholics, Anglicans, Lutherans, and a host of Protestant churches perform these religious rituals on a daily basis.

Here is an Example:

When we receive the "Body and the Blood" e.g. Bread and Wine, is this not a symbolic Jewish and Christian Ritual ? "The Last Supper."

And Prayers, incense and a host of other ritual's that we see consecrated at masses e.g. birth's deaths, marriages, healing of the sick, confession and the Sacraments etc. . . . These rituals all come from Jesus' Jewish traditional religious historical upbringing . . .

mwdegutis, You just can't say things arbitrarily, without knowing your Jewish religious tradition's and Christian Religious tradition and history.

To do this, . . . just makes you a laughing stock and to dam, religiously hypocritical . . .

Now your just playing the religious wing-nut fool . . .

2. As far as praying the "rosary", now you have crossed the line here. e.g "As if baptism will save you or saying a Rosary has any power."

Them's are fighting words, you are nothing more than a bigoted religious coward.

The "Rosary" is a contemplative prayer, focusing on the life of Jesus . . . nothing more and nothing less . . . and yes their is "Power" in words.

Again, anything Marian, . . . Evangelicals go nuts, . . . Mary in the bible, is profoundly humble . . . and her importance . . .

Therefore, like the archangel Gabriel, we say, œHail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Like St. Elizabeth, we say, Who am I, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? Like Mary herself, we say she is blessed among women. And like St. John the apostle, we recognize Mary as the Mother of God (Theotokos), highly exalted in heaven as a magnificent queen, clothed with the sun, the moon at her feet and a garland of twelve stars around her head.

a. Read the "Magnificat Prayer," She glorifies the Lord, (Luke 1:46-55)

My soul magnifies the Lord
And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior;
Because He has regarded the lowliness of His handmaid;
For behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed;
Because He who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is His name;
And His mercy is from generation to generation
on those who fear Him.
He has shown might with His arm,
He has scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.
He has put down the mighty from their thrones,
and has exalted the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich He has sent away empty.
He has given help to Israel, his servant, mindful of His mercy
Even as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his posterity forever.

b. "The Canticle of Simeon Prayer,"
NOW dismiss Thy servant, O Lord, *
in peace, according to Thy word:
For mine own eyes hath seen *
Thy salvation, Which Thou hast prepared *
in the sight of all the peoples,
A light to reveal Thee to the nations *
and the glory of Thy people Israel.

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people
and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David,
as he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from of old,
that we should be saved from our enemies,
and from the hand of all who hate us;
to perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant,
the oath which he swore to our father Abraham,
to grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
might serve him without fear,
in holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our life.
And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High;
for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,
to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins,
through the tender mercy of our God, when the day shall dawn upon us from on high
to give light to those who sit in darkness

c. The Benedictus "The Canticle of Zachary Prayer. Latin, meaning "Now you dismiss." (Luke 2:29-31). This canticle has been used daily at Compline since the 4th century. http://www.preces-latinae.org/thesaurus/Cantici/Benedictus.html

NOW dismiss Thy servant, O Lord,
in peace, according to Thy word:
For mine own eyes hath seen
Thy salvation, Which Thou hast prepared
in the sight of all the peoples,
A light to reveal Thee to the nations
and the glory of Thy people Israel.

d. Mary the New Ark of the Covenant:
In the Book of Revelation, the Ark of the Covenant is described in connection with a highly exalted woman who gave birth to a great King:

Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail. Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. . . . And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. —Rev. 11:19–12:5

As King David himself had prophesied in Psalm 2, the Messiah is the great King who comes to rule all nations with a rod of iron. He was born of a virgin, crucified, resurrected, and in the Ascension, he was caught up to God and His throne. In Revelation 12, this male child is Jesus.

And Mary is his mother. She is this great woman, clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. And ever since the very early days of the Church, Christians have recognized Mary as the fulfillment of the Ark of the Covenant. St. Hippolytus in the second century, and St. Gregory Thaumaturgus in the third, are among the many saints who have identified Mary with the Ark.

e. At Pentecost, Mary was among the 120 in the upper room, and she participated in the first massive outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Church. As she aged, she lived in Ephesus with John the apostle. When she died, Jesus received her soul directly into heaven. And three days after her death, she followed her Son in resurrection, and was assumed bodily into heaven. Mary is the first Christian to experience the fullness of salvation ”including resurrection and glorification. This is a belief that has been passed down in the Church from generation to generation, throughout the ages.

And while Scripture does not record the time of her assumption into heaven, it does record a glorious vision of her in heaven after her assumption had already taken place. The apostle John had stood with Mary at the foot of the cross, he had taken Mary to live in his own house, and then in the final book he wrote, St. John tells us of Mary, exalted in the heavens.

When St. John and Mary stood at the foot of the cross, Jesus told Mary that John was now her son, and that Mary was now John'™s mother. In Revelation 12:17, the apostle John talks about œthe rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 12:17), letting us know that Mary is our mother, too.

All found revelations found in the Old and in the New Testament Bible . . .

And "Who" said that Mary the Mother of God, was not profoundly important . . . in Christianity ?

a. From the Jewish attempts to keep the Law to Catholic rituals, works don't equal faith and only faith in Christ will save.

Hillary Clinton leaves flowers for Our Lady of Guadalupe, After asking "who painted the famous image." it?’https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/hillary_clinton_leaves_flowers_for_our_lady_of_guadalupe_asks_who_painted_it

The image of Our Lady of Guadalupe was miraculously imprinted by Mary on the tilma, or cloak, of St. Juan Diego in 1531. The image has numerous unexplainable phenomena, such as the appearance on Mary’s eyes of those present in the room when the tilma was opened and the image’s lack of decay.

Mrs. Clinton asked “who painted it?” to which Msgr. Monroy responded.

“God!”

December 9, 1531, Our Lady of Guadalupe had this to say to Juan Diego:

""Know for certain, least of my sons, that I am the perfect and perpetual Virgin Mary, Mother of the True God through whom everything lives, the Lord of all things near and far, the Master of heaven and earth.

It is my earnest wish that a temple be built here to my honor. Here I will demonstrate, I will exhibit, I will give all my love, my compassion, my help and my protection to the people.

I am your merciful mother, the merciful mother of all of you who live united in this land, and of all mankind, of all those who love me, of those who cry to me, of those who seek me, of those who have confidence in me.

Here I will hear their weeping, their sorrow, and will remedy and alleviate all their multiple sufferings, necessities and misfortunes."

The "Rosary" is a contemplative prayer, focusing on the life of Jesus . . . nothing more and nothing less . . . and yes their is "Power" in words.
http://www.preces-latinae.org/thesaurus/BVM/Rosarium.html

Again, anything Marian, . . . Evangelicals go nuts, . . . Mary in the bible, is profoundly humble . . . and her importance . . .

Therefore, like the archangel Gabriel, we say, œHail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Like St. Elizabeth, we say, Who am I, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? Like Mary herself, we say she is blessed among women. And like St. John the apostle, we recognize Mary as the Mother of God (Theotokos), highly exalted in heaven as a magnificent queen, clothed with the sun, the moon at her feet and a garland of twelve stars around her head.

a. Read the "Magnificat Prayer," She glorifies the Lord, (Luke 1:46-55)
http://www.preces-latinae.org/thesaurus/Cantici/Magnificat.html
https://www.biblegateway.com/resources/commentaries/IVP-NT/Luke/Marys-Hymn-Praise-Magnificat

My soul magnifies the Lord
And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior;
Because He has regarded the lowliness of His handmaid;
For behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed;
Because He who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is His name;

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people
and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David,
as he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from of old,
that we should be saved from our enemies,
and from the hand of all who hate us;
to perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant,
the oath which he swore to our father Abraham,
to grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
might serve him without fear,
in holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our life.
And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High;
for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,
to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins,
through the tender mercy of our God, when the day shall dawn upon us from on high
to give light to those who sit in darkness

All found revelations found in the Old and in the New Testament Bible . . .

And "Who" said that Mary the Mother of God, was not profoundly important . . . in Christianity ?

a. From the Jewish attempts to keep the Law to Catholic rituals, works don't equal faith and only faith in Christ will save.

b. Some people try to be good enough through works while others put their hope in rituals.

Salvation is not found in rituals or works of any kind.

c. Many who claim to be Christians believe that the finished work of Christ on the cross is insufficient for salvation.

Many try to add individual works to Christ’s shed blood, as if baptism will save you or saying a Rosary has any power.

My guess is that you don't read, . . . what you preach . . . and is quite contradictory, hypercritical Evangelical dogma and religious Hypocrisy . . .

a. Some will, but if even one person can come to salvation through Jesus because they see what He has done in you then your works will have paid off.

b. Jesus said œLet your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16

Good works should be a result of the love we have for Jesus and thankfulness for what He did for us. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? James 2:20

Here is the definition of a "argument fallacy" it is an incorrect argument in logic, and rhetoric, which undermines an argument's logical validity.
a. Your above statement, doesn't hold water.

Doc110...

I’ll tell you yet again that I’m not Protestant yet you provide a “flow chart” of denominations that I don’t even belong to. Well since you’ve been so kind to talk about something about me that you know nothing about, I on the other hand CAN talk about the Roman Catholic Church, something I DO know something about having been indoctrinated in it. Unlike you and your all over the map diatribes, I will be straight to the point and provide information in a very readable format. Enjoy…

What is Roman Catholicism?"
The Roman Catholic Church portrays itself as the one legitimate heir to New Testament Christianity, and the pope as the successor to Peter, the first bishop of Rome. While those details are debatable, there is no question that Roman church history reaches back to ancient times. The apostle Paul wrote his letter to the Romans about AD 55 and addressed a church body that existed prior to his first visit there (but he made no mention of Peter, though he greeted others by name). Despite repeated persecutions by the government, a vibrant Christian community existed in Rome after apostolic times. Those early Roman Christians were just like their brethren in other parts of the world—simple followers of Jesus Christ.

Things changed drastically when the Roman Emperor Constantine professed a conversion to Christianity in AD 312. He began to make changes that ultimately led to the formation of the Roman Catholic Church. He issued the Edict of Milan in 313, which granted freedom of worship throughout the empire. When doctrinal disputes arose, Constantine presided over the first ecumenical church council at Nicaea in AD 325, even though he held no official authority in the churches. By the time of Constantine’s death, Christianity was the favored, if not the official, religion of the Roman Empire. The term Roman Catholic was defined by Emperor Theodosius on February 27, 380, in the Theodosian Code. In that document, he refers to those who hold to the “religion which was delivered to the Romans by the divine Apostle Peter” as “Roman Catholic Christians” and gives them the official sanction of the empire.

The fall of the Roman Empire and the rise of the Catholic Church are really two branches of the same story, as the power was transferred from one entity to the other. From the time of Constantine (AD 312) until the fall of the Roman Empire in 476, the emperors of Rome claimed a certain amount of authority within the church, even though it was disputed by many church leaders. During those formative years, there were many disputes over authority, structure, and doctrine. The emperors sought to increase their authority by granting privileges to various bishops, resulting in disputes about primacy within the churches. At the same time, some of the bishops sought to increase their authority and prestige by accusing others of false doctrine and seeking state support of their positions. Many of those disputes resulted in very sinful behavior, which are a disgrace to the name of Christ.

Just like today, some of those who lived in the leading cities tended to exalt themselves above their contemporaries in the rural areas. The third century saw the rise of an ecclesiastical hierarchy patterned after the Roman government. The bishop of a city was over the presbyters, or priests, of the local congregations, controlling the ministry of the churches, and the Bishop of Rome began to establish himself as supreme over all. Though some historians tell these details as the history of “the church,” there were many church leaders in those days who neither stooped to those levels nor acknowledged any ecclesiastical hierarchy. The vast majority of churches in the first four centuries derived their authority and doctrine from the Bible and traced their lineage directly back to the apostles, not to the church of Rome. In the New Testament, the terms elder, pastor, and bishop are used interchangeably for the spiritual leaders of any church (see 1 Peter 5:1–3 where the Greek root words are translated “elders,” “feed,” and “oversight”). By the time Gregory became pope in AD 590, the empire was in a shambles, and he assumed imperial powers along with his ecclesiastical authority. From that time on, the church and state were fully intertwined as the Holy Roman Empire, with the pope exercising authority over kings and emperors.

What are the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church that distinguish it from other Christian churches? Whole books have been written on this subject, but a sampling of the doctrines will be outlined here.

Roman Catholicism (RCC)
Biblical Teaching (BT)

RCC: The bishops, with the pope as their head, rule the universal Church.
BT: Christ, the head of the body, rules the universal church (Colossians 1:18).

RCC: God has entrusted revelation to the bishops.
BT: God has entrusted revelation to the saints (Jude 3).

RCC: The pope is infallible in his teaching.
BT: God alone is infallible (Numbers 23:19; Acts 17:11).

RCC: Scripture and Tradition together are the Word of God.
BT: Scripture alone is the Word of God (John 10:35; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20,21; Mark 7:1-13).

RCC: Mary is the co-redeemer, for she participated with Christ in the painful act of redemption.
BT: Christ alone is the Redeemer, for He alone suffered and died for sin (1 Peter 1:18-19).

RCC: Mary is the co-mediator, to whom we can entrust all our cares and petitions.
BT: Christ Jesus is the one mediator to whom we can entrust all our cares and petitions (1 Timothy 2:5; John 14:13-14; 1 Peter 5:7).

RCC: Initial justification is by means of baptism.
BT: Justification is by faith alone (Romans 3:28).

RCC: Adults must prepare for justification through faith and good works.
BT: God justifies ungodly sinners who believe (Romans 4:5). Good works are the result of salvation, not the cause (Ephesians 2:8-10).

RCC: Grace is merited by good works.
BT: Grace is a free gift (Romans 11:6).

RCC: Salvation is attained by cooperating with grace through faith, good works, and participation in the sacraments.
BT: Salvation is attained by grace through faith apart from works (Ephesians 2:10).

RCC: No one can know if he will attain to eternal life.
BT: The believer can know that he has eternal life by the Word of God and the testimony of the Holy Spirit who indwells believers (1 John 5:13; Romans 8:16).

RCC: The Roman Catholic Church is necessary for salvation.
BT: There is salvation in no one but the Lord Jesus Christ, “for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

RCC: Christ's body and blood exist wholly and entirely in every fragment of consecrated bread and wine in every Roman Catholic church around the world.
BT: The bread and wine are symbols of the body and blood of Christ, and He is bodily present in heaven (1 Corinthians 11:23-25; Hebrews 10:12-13).

RCC: The sacrifice of the cross is perpetuated in the sacrifice of the Mass.
BT: The sacrifice of the cross is finished (John 19:30).

RCC: Each sacrifice of the Mass appeases God's wrath against sin.
BT: The once-for-all sacrifice of the cross fully appeased God's wrath against sin (Hebrews 10:12-18).

RCC: The sacrificial work of redemption is continually carried out through the sacrifice of the Mass.
BT: The sacrificial work of redemption was finished when Christ gave His life for us on the cross (Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 1:3).

These doctrines don’t date back all the way to Constantine, except for perhaps in seed form, but were slowly adopted over many years as various popes issued decrees. In many cases, the doctrines are not even based on Scripture but on a document of the church. Most Roman Catholics consider themselves to be Christians and are unaware of the differences between their beliefs and the Bible. Sadly, the Roman Catholic Church has fostered that ignorance by discouraging the personal study of the Bible and making the people reliant on the priests for their understanding of the Bible.

mwdegutis,

2 Timothy 4 1-5 Some Will Depart from the Faith:
1 I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:
2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers
to suit their own passions,
4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
5 As for you, always be sober-minded, rendure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

2 Timothy 6 False Teachers:
Teach and urge these things.
3 If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness,
4 he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions,
5 and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.

Then what the hell are you, then ? . . . What is your present day religious affiliation ? Guess its top-secret, . . .

Your Jewish, lol.

You forgot to mention:
Early Church History 101 Chapter1. http://www.churchhistory101.com/century4.php

By 100 AD, . . . Christianity had become an institution headed by a three-rank hierarchy of bishops, priests, and deacons, who understood themselves to be the guardians of Christianity and Faith.

Peter was the Bishop in Rome and the default church authority, as all other bishops and churches looked to Rome in disputes and clarification. And following the death of Peter, the first Pope e.g. Rome has since been the seat of papal succession, and still hold's this authority today called the 'primacy of jurisdiction.

Incidentally, Here's is a book for you to read, it's free to download.

"The Catholic Perspective on Paul." It is based on the conviction that the Pauline epistles contain the primitive and pristine doctrines of the Catholic Faith. In the Pauline corpus we discover a Paul who is Catholic, a theologian who is sacramental, a churchman who is hierarchical, a mystic who is orthodox.

Origin's of Catholic Sacred Oral Traditions:

Oral tradition was the normal mode for communicating the teachings of a master in the ancient world. For one thing, before the use of papyrus was widespread writing was both clumsy and expensive. Using a stylus on a clay tablet worked, but once the clay dried no "corrections" or "edits" could be made. Writing on a scroll made of an animal skin was certainly an improvement, but was still limited. The widespread use of papyrus for the ancient world was like the coming of the internet in the modern world - a virtual explosion of written communication began.

Once great teachings began to circulate in written form ancient writers continued to be skeptical of using the written word. There was a sense that it fell far short for the communication of treasured knowledge. Church historian Eusebius relates this thinking from the fragments of Papias,

But I will not hesitate also to set down for thy benefit, along with the interpretations, all that ever I carefully learnt and carefully recalled from the elders, guaranteeing its truth....For I supposed that things out of books did not profit me so much as the utterances of a voice which liveth and abideth. - H.E. III.39,3-4

Irenaeus (A.H. V.33,3-4) quotes another passage from Papias where the author tells us that he knew the apostle John. This represents one of the earliest references to an early oral tradition within Christianity - Papias is writing down what he remembered hearing from the mouth of John, Polycarp, and others - so he is writing down oral tradition.

Oral Tradition and the words of Jesus
The words of Jesus were recognized as inspired very soon after the resurrection, yet it was 2-3 decades before his words were circulated in written form. We have one clear example of oral tradition in the NT when Paul is addressing the Ephesian elders,

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' " - Acts 20:35
This citation is especially interesting since Luke, the author of Acts, does not record this saying in his own gospel. In fact, this agrapha, from the Greek

Your blending of Western and Eastern Roman Catholic history is a new exaggeration for you. You really need to brush on your personal thought on recorded world Catholic history, and your quasi inaccurate religious false history.

You are really full of yourself. Heed the biblical warnings in 2 Timothy 4 and 6 and especially 2 Timothy 6: 4-5

3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers
to suit their own passions,
4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 2 Timothy 4

3 If anyone steaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness,

Enjoy…

1. What is Roman Catholicism?"

The Roman Catholic Church portrays itself as the one legitimate heir to New Testament Christianity, and the pope as the successor to Peter, the first bishop of Rome.
> > > "And I say also unto thee, Simon, That thou art Peter [which means a rock wrote:
, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" Matthew 18. < < <

While those details are debatable, there is no question that Roman church history reaches back to ancient times.

The apostle Paul wrote his letter to the Romans about AD 55 and addressed a church body that existed prior to his first visit there (but he made no mention of Peter, though he greeted others by name).
> > > Peter has alway's been the Apostolic leader and authority. Paul was instructed by Peter for three years. Before Paul was was able to preach the Word of God, Jesus Christ to the Gentiles. < < <

> > > And brought the roman Church with him, but the Roman Catholic Church and the "primacy of jurisdiction" remained in Rome.

Hence the division, Western Roman Empire and the Eastern Roman Empire, or Byzantine Empire. > > > relating to, or characterizing the Orthodox Church or its rites and liturgy. He issued the Edict of Milan in 313, which granted freedom of worship throughout the empire.

When doctrinal disputes arose, Constantine presided over the first ecumenical church council at Nicaea in AD 325, even though he held no official authority in the churches.

> > > The Council of Nicea was concerned with how Christians should articulate their beliefs about the divinity of Jesus. Thus it was the birthplace of the Nicean creed. Ten Basic Facts about the NT Canon that Every Christian Should Memorize: #8: “The NT Canon Was Not Decided at Nicea—Nor Any Other Church Council.

As long as you declare by faith that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you’re good to go. Galatians 5
"When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: …hostility… quarreling…outbursts of anger…and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another."

We Need to Stop Saying That There Are 33,000 Protestant Denominations
http://www.ncregister.com/blog/scottericalt/we-need-to-stop-saying-that-there-are-33000-protestant-denominations

That there really are 33,000 denominations; or whatever the number has escalated to today—possibly 51,314 as of this writing.
World Christianity consists of 6 major ecclesiastico-cultural blocs, divided into 300 major ecclesiastical traditions, composed of over 33,000 distinct denominations in 238 countries

The WCE then goes on to break down “world Christianity” into the following broad categories:

Independents: 22,000 denominations
Protestants: 9000 denominations

Orthodox: 781 denominations

Anglicans: 168 denominations
