8-year-old football players take knee during national anthem

An entire Illinois football team of players aged 8 and younger took a knee rather than stand for the national anthem prior to Sunday's game in Belleville, KTVI-TV reported.

One of the kids asked me, did I see them protesting and rioting in St. Louis, Orlando Gooden, coach of the Cahokia Quarterback Club, told the station. I said, Yes do you know why they are doing it?'

A player answered, Because black people are getting killed, and nobody's going to jail, Gooden recalled to the station.

Maybe if black people quit killing, and killing black people, it would be a lot easier for Police Officers of any color to respect them in adversarial situations.

Maybe if more black people reminded black people, and kids, how many white people and black people died out of respect for that flag and what it represented. More freedom and opportunity and a higher standard of living then anywhere else in the world. People are dying to come here, even breaking our laws to come here. I don't see anyone dying to leave. But I'm sure we can get up a large fund me page, as soon as the oppressed Kevyn turns in his citizenship, and we can get him a one way flight to the country of his choice.

That's not the kids. It's the ones not raising them and another generation just like the last. I'll bet not one of those kid's father is coaching that team. I'll bet their moms use it as a babysitter to give them personal time to get pregnant. AKA pay raise.

I doubt they are mimicking any such thing, most of them are completely absorbed in their game devices. These kids were carefully indoctrinated and coached as to what to do and say. Some adults are using them as catspaws. An investigation should be mounted into who told these kids how to behave because this is anything but spontaneous behavior.

People who abuse their priveliged positions by using children to make political capital are the lowest form of vermin. They should appear on the sex offender roles as child abusers.
