I called my old friend BadBobby, an intellectual, and asked what he was doing.

He replied that he was working on "Aqua-thermal treatment of ceramics, aluminum, and steel under a constrained environment."

I was impressed.

Upon further inquiring, I learned that he was washing dishes with hot water under his wife's supervision.

I will remember this for the next time I am washing dishes, will make it seem more complicated. I generally refer to that activity as manual removal of biological contaminates but Bad Bobby's sounds better.

All I ask him to do right now is some cooking, which he loves to do , put out the dogs and feed them and dust once a week. that is about all he can do, but they are using a different pain killer for his back and it is helping. Right now we have two friends and their 12 dogs that have joined us.The got out of Florida intact and their dogs are in two heated or air conditioned sheds in the 2 acre fenced paddock. they brought their cages dishes and water buckets but could not bring much else except their clothing and medications for them and the dogs. Have already gone to town to buy 500 pounds of Purina ProPlan Sensitive Skin dry food and 3 cases of canned to mix with it. And of course I had to buy food for all of us too. Haven't brought up reimbursement and don't intend to, they have enough to worry about with out any more concerns. The Corsos and our Welsh have the smaller paddock, and will have to cope. And I refuse to let them take us out to eat. NPP doesn't need the travel and there is plenty of food in the freezer. But we are VERY Busy.

Given the quality of character you both possess, I am not surprised by either yours or NPP's kindness and generosity. You, IMO, are OPP's 'First Couple.'

Our friend Diane has another couple with dogs living with them right now same breed plus Stafford shire Bull Terriers, so they are as busy as we are. Diane is the one from whom we got Chaos and both the couple and dogs that are with us and t he couple with dogs staying with Diane and her husband have dogs related to her dogs. Besides, show dog people are like that. Many of us go way out of our way to help other dog people knowing the favor will be readily returned as needed. Npp and I helped place dogs in several breeds when the breeders were dying of AIDS some years ago. We do not approve of the peoples behavior but the dogs needed to go with other breeders, not into a pet rescue where they would be neutered or spayed and their fantastic genetics lost for all times. We are a strange group of people, definitely. Diane is also the artist helping David and she has sent paintings to Archies daughter, AuntiE and LindaJoy just because she though they would like the painting.

I guess that goes with my own "Environmental Preservation through Expeditious Waste Management", or - taking out the garbage on time.

Oh yes, that certainly sounds like ol' BB. He evidently learned that particular chore in the Navy mess. His bride was wise to not let his talent go to waste.

Just as did not let his lack of talent at the poker table go to waste, but into our wallets and bank accounts.
