I purchased a piece of lawn equipment at Lowes last Sunday, only to find that it was defective when I tried to assemble it yesterday. I called the store, and Brenda in Lawn, and Garden said bring it back, and they have 24 of them in stock. Ok, great, see you tomorrow.
So, I'm leaving to go there, and exchange my defective SEASONAL item now. I'm kind of grouchy right now; so if I don't leave with a good SEASONAL item....ya'll will know where I'm at.
Wish me luck with these leonards!

Nah...I'm in central TX, just outside tornado alley. ......we rarely get those nados or coastal events, just a little taste when they start dying off.

We are subject to it, just rare round hurra in these parts.........Archie is in the blast zone for those nados

I did get a functional one without having to raise my voice, or cuss anyone. Now I get to go use it while I feed the skeeters.

We're fine here, but I'm wondering about my sister, and mother. They are an hour Northwest of Houston. The cell towers must be down because I can't get through.

I know once it hit it was downgraded to one.. flash flood warnings in effect and lots of rain of course..Didn't see anything on damage as it was just coming in then..

Hopefully the cell towers won't be blocked and you get through.

I'm slathered in DEET, and have a spare pint of blood in the fridge just in case! We got skeeters here big enough to ride!

them skeeters in west Texas are just wusses
shoot a little bug spray at em and they run and hide
these skeeters here in Humble just suck that bug spray in and inject it into your bloodstream.
makes your blood thinner and easier for them to digest

I don't know about that BB. I've sprayed enough bug spray here in the Panhandle to kill the bugs at your house too. They seem to grow from it!
