Let's be perfectly clear here. When Obama hid what he thought was Russia hacking of computer systems like Hillary's unsecured server which contained classified information, literally buried it for nearly two years, allowing Russia (or who ever it actually was) to probe our grid, unfettered, for the sake of getting a democrat elected, his aiding and abetting the "enemy", he was TRULY committing treason. TRUE TREASON.

Treason defined by the Constitution of the USA: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, OR in adhering to their Enemies, GIVING THEM AID and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

If it's any consolation I've never found him funny and never watched him. I watched Stewart on cable and watch Kimble on mainstream TV.

No consolation but thanks anyway. I enjoyed him for a long time, too. He was very off the wall funny. Now, he just sounds vindictive and angry.

I've watched Colbert for years and enjoyed much of his ribbing of the GOP when they were hounding Obama. In fact, the GOP still has a hypocritical slant on certain issues. Bit if you think Colbert is ANYTHING other than a liberal leftist, then you are dumber than dirt, Eden.

Now, he's nothing more than a liberal hack, pundit wanna be, who thinks he has relevance. Even Jon Stewart has mentioned it.

It's his prerogative to be a leftist hack just like its yours to be a right wing sourpuss and mine to be an independent gadfly. What comes out of his mouth is protected by the first amendment just like Rush Limbaugh and Alex Jones' missives.

Surely you don't think I am saying he isn't first amendment protected???? Certainly, he is. But, it's still disgusting and in much the same way that idiot football player has been crucified by the NFL for exercising his freedom to "speak", so, I hope, will Colbert be crucified.

Having the right to speak freely does not absolve one of the consequences of what is said. In other words, I don't want him censored, I want him gone/out of business/to become homeless/etc/etc. I hope he is refused work for the rest of his life. I hope he becomes the most unpopular "comedian" in history.

To be honest, I hope he continues. It'll just make the liberals and democrats look that much more stupid.

Is that clear eden????

Letterman didn't seem so much interested in an agenda as is being funny.

Letterman making jokes of Sarah Palin's under age daughter getting knocked up by Al Rod was just as sick as this people. He never joked about Clinton or Obama's daughter. That's when I switched to Jay Leno. I wish we still had Jay.

Thank you for your contrary, cantankerous opinion. If you don't like him there is this button on your remote you can press and you can binge watch Joel Osteen instead.

Hahaha.... Yeah. Colbert is one of the consciences of America.

Where is the conscience of America as regards to the treason committed by Obama?? The sheer dishonesty of the DNC and their blatant admission that they have no obligation to make the nominee selection process fair and equitable??

There's NO conscience in Colberts statement that basically says Trump is good for nothing but sucking Putin's cock. That's essentially what he proclaimed about the president of the USA. Had he made the same statement about Obama, my God in heaven, California would fall clean into the ocean. Liberal heads truly would explode!

That is one stupid statement kemmer. Truly stupid.

I recall worse said about Obama from various right wing mouthpieces. "That nigger in the White House"... "Bath house Barry", his wife "an ape in heels"...to name a few. You can't have situational memory loss on this...or can you?

I would withhold judgement on all these matters until the smoke clears but Junior just admitted on TV (including Fox) that he met with a Russian Lawyer and others in the hope of getting salacious dirt on Hillary. Perhaps Junior was too green to know this but the Russians are looking for any advantage over us and entrapping the kid of the potential future President would be a major coup for them.

The GOP wouldn't even give Judge Garland a hearing, much less a vote. Don't talk to me about "dishonesty".
