It seems we just are of the same time frame. Those that worked, saved and prayed to God to help all of us poor sinners and also those that were not so well off at that time. When we married we did not have to have our wives work just to put enough food on the table like today. There was little inflation and one could by a 1966 Chevy hard top with four speed and positraction for about $3,200. Now 51 years later we have to pay at least $23,000 for a American car with no extra's or few extra's and four doors, no hard tops and smaller tires which do not let one have a nice smooth ride.

Yep, me too. I used to have a 48 Ford convertible with fender skirts. Pain in the neck in the winter when you had to change a rear tire.
