A poll: Who should reap the reward for laundering money?

I just transferred a load of laundry from the washer to the dryer, and found $128.00 in paper money in the washer. I think it should be mine to spend as I choose since I laundered it, and it is now clean. And yes, I put the clothes in the washer too.
I think I earned that money. Mrs. Bunker disagrees.

A man should be paid well for his work. Sorry, Ms. B but when my husband used to do the laundry, anything he found as a result belonged to him.
That was the reason he got transfered to dishes!

I think the question you have to ask yourself is "How much is my Domestic tranquility worth". If the answer is 'zip' enjoy some beers with your buddies or save it for the lawyers.

The situation has been resolved pafret. I guess I should communicate better, because she had no idea how bad I've been wanting new towel racks, and towels for the bathrooms!
