To answer your question we only have to look at the liberal response to "Kingsman: The Secret Service" a block-buster released by 20th Century Fox in 2015 that depicted a scene where an Obama-double, playing the role of a black president, gets his head blown off. The response on the left? Pretty insignificant. Nothing even close to the foot stomping and whiny-ass crying on the right that we're seeing now.

It never ceases to amaze me how the right can be such belligerent assholes and the moment anyone shows them any disrespect they're utterly shocked by it.

Trump should appreciate the message... he is getting some honest feedback from the people. And no one is actually threatening to kill him, in fact a lot of us would hate to see that happen because then Pence would step in. At least with dumb-ass Trump we know there's a better chance he'll screw up before doing any real damage.

I do think a depiction of a sitting president's death is in poor taste, but it seems that etiquette was compromised by 20th Century Fox two years ago and to be blatant, Trump is the biggest danger facing the American people today so the depictions really aren't that surprising.

Probably the reason for no response, by the left, to what you describe, is that not enough of those on the left probably saw the movie. Whereas, everyone has seen or heard what Kathy Gifford did. Plus, Fareed Zakaria has proclaimed on CNN, the play "Julius Ceaser," were a President Trump look-alike is assassinated, a masterpiece. By now, anyone who's awake has heard about the two situations. Then there's the issue of the Rodeo Clown wearing an Obama mask, the left had their shorts all in a knot. When a mask of President Ronald Reagon was worn, not a peep. The hypocrisy of the left is palpable.

Kingsman was a major movie release that made $128 million at the box office... plenty of people saw it. I'm sure you can search the internet for liberal overreactions and find *something* to come back with... people are people after all.

The point I was making is that conservatives DID in fact portray Obama's death, contrary to what the original post was suggesting and what that proves is that all this bitching about disrespect for a president really isn't about disrespecting the presidency at all... it's about taking offense to gestures on the other side of a political divide.

If you're that offended by what Kathy Griffin did then you better figure out how to get over it 'cause we might have another few years to go, Trump is a magnet for disrespect and last I checked, free speech is still protected by the U.S.Constitution.
