Just sayin' - When you carry the Bible, Satan gets a headache..... When you open it, he collapses..... When he sees you reading it, he faints..... When he sees that you are living what you read, he flees...

I seriously doubt a former Arch Angel is that concerned about the Bible or folks that pretend to believe in it and especially appreciates those that use the Bible to beat someone up with.

Auntie, there are some corrupt Bibles out there. The King James version stands out as the best. The new international version was translated from the Greek to English by 4 people. Only one of them spoke Greek and he was a short order cook. The Jehovah Witnesses use that one but they changed it intentionally as to not have Jesus Christ being God. They want you to believe that Jesus and Michael the archangel ore one and the same.

Satan knows the Bible better than most So-called Christians and uses the word to his advantage on Christians that don't live their lives like Christ told them to. Why call me Lord Lord then don't do the things I tell you to do ? Depart from me you that do inequity I never knew you !! (fake christians)

Google Bible translations. U will be surprised. The difference in them is very minor. King James was then and is now a literary masterpiece. But it was not first or the most "accurate". There is no translation where ever thing is translated perfectly. God is not stumped by any man or group of men. He's not up in heaven scratching his head saying"doggone it, they read the wrong translation, now there going to hell". Gee wish I could do something about that, all I can do is speak and there's the day, all I can do is breathe into clay and make a human. Gee, I wish I could Change words in a book. I read the CJB, mostly, I also have a king James study Bible and a amplified, and a Darby.

I love my CJB. Though I use the Chumash when studying the Torah. I love the commentary from the Sages. I am working on become more proficient in Hebrew, so that for once in my life I can read , and understand the full Tanahk in Hebrew. I think it would be an eye opener.

I had friends that lived in Israel and they decided to learn Hebrew and his comment to me was old dogs have a hard time learning new tricks. I'm 74 so I never even went to investigate learning Hebrew.

They said that it was very difficult and the fact that there are no vowels in their words makes it very difficult indeed. I haven't heard anything more from his wife as my friend passed away from cancer a couple of years ago so I don't know if she returned to Israel or not. Anyway good luck to you and may you have great success. At least if you do learn they won't be able to snow that is for sure.
