Just when you think you’ve heard it all…

Harvard professor David Williams and Massachusetts General Hospital psychiatrist Morgan Medlock have collaborated on a new study that will be published in the June 8 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine. In the report, the researchers make the astounding claim that Donald Trump’s election could be responsible for an uptick in disease rates, premature childbirths, and even deaths, especially among “marginalized groups” like illegal immigrants and Muslims.
Yes, this is what science has come to.
“Elections can matter for the health of children and adults in profound ways that are often unrecognized and unaddressed,” Williams said.
The two did not conduct any original research for the study, instead relying on past research to come up with their conclusions. This, strangely enough, was enough for them to make the claim that Trump’s hostility towards minority groups could lead to “serious health effects” within the targeted populations.
Well, yes, they’ll have to be treated by the medical facilities in their home countries, which aren’t up to the standards employed by the United States. We suppose they might have a point there.
Of course, that’s not what they mean.

“Health care organizations could take a strong stance against hate crimes, discriminatory political rhetoric, and incivility; and the health care community can advocate for further research, or conduct their own, on potential negative health effects related to elections and the societal climate, as well as on identifying effective interventions to reduce their adverse effects on health,” said the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in a statement accompanying the study.
Okay, so let’s be clear about what this really is. These researchers dug up a bunch of studies that prove – to no one’s surprise – that victims of hateful prejudice can wind up suffering physical and psychological consequences. They then extrapolated from that to drum up some publicity by dragging the 2016 election into the mix – something they would not have done if they weren’t funded and driven by liberal ideology.
The New England Journal of Medicine should be ashamed of themselves for publishing this partisan garbage, and these researchers should lose whatever respectability they might have in the medical community. We already have a huge problem at the intersection of science and politics; “studies” like this don’t make the situation any better.

It's "lefty's" last chance to "overthrow the enemy, America" {"Rules for Radicals"}, Cmac. "They can't go back or look at possible obliterating opposition, and must go forward as rapidly as possible or the radical movement will be rapidly crushed." Talk about being "stuck between a rock and a-hard-place." (D)amn that's a BIG problem for "lefty." Hummmmmm, what IS that "crushing" noise I keep hearing? GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PRESIDENT "45" DONALD J. {BORN AGAIN} TRUMP (R); JUST LIKE THE WEATHER!!!

Have you heard the latest one? Trump is making people FAT! Yes, really, people including brain trusts like Barbara Streisand are saying that Trump is causing people so much stress that they're eating more and are becoming fat as a result. Really makes you shake your head in disbelief.

LAPhil: Check out this experiment....They say it was done with monkeys...but I rally think they used democrats!

Monkey experiment

You start with a cage containing four monkeys, and inside the cage you hang a banana on a string, and then you place a set of stairs under the banana.

Before long a monkey will go to the stairs and climb toward the banana.

You then spray ALL the monkeys with cold water.

After a while, another monkey makes an attempt. As soon as he touches the stairs, you spray ALL the monkeys with cold water again.

Pretty soon, when another monkey tries to climb the stairs, the other monkeys will try to prevent it.

Now, put away the cold water. Remove one monkey from the cage and replace it with a new monkey The new monkey sees the banana and attempts to climb the stairs. To his shock, ALL of the other monkeys beat the crap out of him. After another attempt and attack, he knows that if he tries to climb the stairs he will be assaulted.

Next, remove another of the original four monkeys, replacing it with a new monkey. The newcomer goes to the stairs and is attacked. The previous newcomer takes part in the punishment – with enthusiasm -- because he is now part of the "team."

Then, replace a third original monkey with a new monkey, followed by the fourth. Every time the newest monkey takes to the stairs, he is attacked.

Now, the monkeys that are beating him up have no idea why they were not permitted to climb the stairs. Neither do they know why they are participating in the beating of the newest monkey. Having replaced all of the original monkeys, none of the remaining monkeys will have ever been sprayed with cold water. Nevertheless, not one of the monkeys will try to climb the stairway for the banana.

Why, you ask? Because in their minds, that is the way it has always been!

This is how today's Congress and Senate operates, and this is why, from time to time, ALL of the monkeys need to be REPLACED AT THE SAME TIME!

DISCLAIMER: This is meant as no disrespect to monkeys.

Me thinks the 'psychiatrist' needs to see a shrink and the 'doctor' needs to take a chill pill. I can understand their issues but what I can't understand is the fact that a legitimate medical journal would publish this baloney without any basis in fact.

I'd hardly call Babs a brain trust. This is not a research paper to begin with. It is nothing more than a politically guided opinion lacking credibility and any medical journal that would publish it is trash and has no peer review process.

We live in a society that glorifies science, including the science of psychology, and think these people really know what they are talking about. They don't. They were trained in a false reality, and their opinions are worthless. But people believe them. That is an extreme danger for the health of this country. In general people are more immature and delusional than they have ever been. And we can thank these 'highly educated idiots' for this nonsense.

Normaly we would laugh our asses off at this but not anymore. These sub-human freaks on the left are dangerous.

Hopefully liberals will eradicate themselves from humanity with their inability to breed if we just leave them alone. They cant produce offspring if they continue to get abortions and live in homosexual relationships. And what heterosexuals are cohabiting will not have children due to faux global warming and their selfish lifestyles!
