German news magazine rips Trump, calling him 'unfit' and 'a danger to the world'

Germany’s Der Spiegel newspaper is pulling no punches after covering Donald Trump’s disastrous trip to Europe. In a brutal op-ed, they lay out the case that Donald Trump is simply "unfit to be President of the United States":
Donald Trump is not fit to be president of the United States. He does not possess the requisite intellect and does not understand the significance of the office he holds nor the tasks associated with it. He doesn't read. He doesn't bother to peruse important files and intelligence reports and knows little about the issues that he has identified as his priorities. His decisions are capricious and they are delivered in the form of tyrannical decrees.
He is a man free of morals. As has been demonstrated hundreds of times, he is a liar, a racist and a cheat. I feel ashamed to use these words, as sharp and loud as they are. But if they apply to anyone, they apply to Trump. And one of the media's tasks is to continue telling things as they are: Trump has to be removed from the White House. Quickly. He is a danger to the world.
They say Trump simply has to be removed and break down how the Americans can and should make it happen. Even they know Republicans are spineless and do not respect the rule of law:
The first is Trump's resignation, which won't happen. The second is that Republicans in the House and Senate support impeachment, which would be justified by the president's proven obstruction of justice, but won't happen because of the Republicans' thirst for power, which they won't willingly give up. The third possible solution is the invocation of the 25th Amendment, which would require the cabinet to declare Trump unfit to discharge the powers of the presidency. That isn't particularly likely either. Fourth: The Democrats get ready to fight and win back majorities in the House and Senate in midterm elections, which are 18 months away, before they then pursue option two, impeachment. Fifth: the international community wakes up and finds a way to circumvent the White House and free itself of its dependence on the U.S. Unlike the preceding four options, the fifth doesn't directly solve the Trump problem, but it is nevertheless necessary - and possible.
Emphasis added on the fifth solution. Read that again. “The international community wakes up and finds a way to circumvent the White House and free itself of dependence on the U.S.” Make no mistake about it, this is the strongest signal yet that Donald Trump is weakening the United States every single day he occupies the White House. From a national security standpoint, we cannot afford to let our strongest allies slip away. And what happens when our strongest financial partners flee the SS Trumptanic? Watch French President Macron try to avoid even shaking hands with Donald Trump yesterday. This was a clear display of disdain, not admiration:

This isn’t man the free world wants to do business with. This is a man to be avoided at all costs.
As U.S. citizens, we have 529 days to take back Congress and truly set down the path of removing this buffoon. Our financial and national security depends on it.

You have that backwards, moldy. All the reports say Trump tried to release twice but Macron wouldn't let go.

Here's a counter analysis: Trump is motivating countries to cooperate, which have not cooperated before.
He is motivating people to analyze and solidify THEIR beliefs.
He is getting poor people to the polls. ( bad for GOP that )
He is motivating countries to reject right wing candidates.
He has energized the democratic base like no one else ever has.

The really bad news is - he's motivating N. Korea to accelerate their nuclear program.

Good grief, man! You want to quote a foreign--German, at that--newspaper as gospel? That's silly! I mean...who really cares what they have to say? I don't and I'm sure many others on this board feel the same way. BTW the Krauts are NOT even paying the required 2% GDP towards N ATO. "Der Spiegel" should take Merkel to task for this rather than carping on Trump.

Idiot trump and you do not know that they have ten years to reach the goal of spending two percent on their military, not payments to NATO. While the US wastes most of our money on defense spending, more than the rest of the world combined. So who is the idiot?
