You know nothing about living anywhere but the US. Pinochet murdered tens of thousands of Chileans, similarly in Cuba, el Salvador, Nicaragua, Haiti, Columbia. So, no, right-wing despots are not better for their populace.
What does a comparison of electoral margins mean? The situations weren't even similar.

I'm 72 years old. The total of deaths under Pinochet was in the 3,000 range. He was far outstripped by Fidel.

I've read a lot. When do you see people marching for food under right wing regimes. You don't.

Allende took a thriving economy and drove it into the ground. Hitler took an economy that was out of control with inflation and brought it into realtive prosperity with programs borrowed from FDR.

I find it ironic that Democrats & many Republicans are apoplectic because of possible influence by Russia in our election. We’ve been interfering in the elections of other countries since WWII and even overthrowing duly elected leaders when we didn’t like what they were doing.

We helped overthrow Jacobo Arbenz in Guatemala in 1954 under Republican Dwight Eisenhower and helped overthrow & murder Ngo Dinh Diem in Viet-Nam under Democrat John Kennedy. That destabilized the country & led to our 10 year war there.

Our undermining of Saddam Hussein, Hosni Mubarak and Muammar Kaddafi has led to the persecution of thousands of Christians and has been accomplished under Republican George W. Bush and Democrat Barack H. Obama. The litany of our interventions could go on for pages, many resulting in disasters.

So now, the #2 nuclear power may have been tried to influence an election in our country, the #1 nuclear power & we’re outraged? Somehow that doesn't compute.

Also Obama sending money and people to fight the election of the Prime Minister of Israel.

crazylibertarian-you have to understand that this is a "selective" outrage by disingenuous people. Had Hillary won, this subject would not even have been broached. The democrats are so desperate to justify their butt whipping that
they will resort to anything in their attempt to convince the American people that Trump could not have won without Russia's help. They totally discount the tens of thousands who showed up at Trump rallies while Hillary was drawing
crowds numbering in the hundreds. This is nothing more than sour grapes by sorry losers. PS. It was Obama who spent some 300 million in taxpayer dollars in his attempt to prevent the re-election of Netanyahu. America First!!!

You have to understand that I do understand. I agree 100% with you. The Democratic leadership is the servant of internationalism and soclaism/communism. I do though issue one bit of caution; it is not Democrats, for the most part, but their leaders.

As I have said before, it is nothing new. We have snooped, listened and tried to influence the Russian political process. We get mad when they do it to us. That makes us hypocrites. Wouldn't you say Crazy?

The people that voted for the Democrats took their BS to heart with out learning for themselves. They are like lemmings following the pied piper.

I try to avoid the term hypocrite because it's so widely thrown around &, ultimately aren't we all hypocrites? None of us lives up to Jesus' message but I certainly agree with your sentiment. I just wish there were a suitable alternative term.
