Slat gets ignored a lot because too msny people read intent into his posts. I believe the truth is that friend Slat posts to provoke people to think and self inspect rather than show bias one way or the other.

I also try to give cause for people to consider another view. The difference is that I can become belligerent where Slat remains a gentleman. He has far more patience than I.

I live by the philosophy that says "Take your best shot. Then it's my turn so make it count". When I pick a side I fight for it.

Yes. I get caught in the feeding frenzy and come out swinging. There was a time when I would have turned the other cheek. That time has passed. After X# of personal attacks for the heinous crime of disagreeing and having a differing viewpoint, I grew tired of bearing the brunt of childish people with foul mouths and small minds.

I would much rather discuss why I feel a certain way but many people here love to be aggressive so I have decided to give what I receive.

My failing is that once someone is on my list, they remain there forever.

I have hit that level as well Doc..Lost that sense of everybody is entitled to their opinion when it's nothing but attacks or name calling..Rather than getting worked up about it I simply ignore them.. I know a couple in here that go by different aka's just to stir the pot...They are so miserable they can't stand to see civil debate or friendship...

I have never known slatt to be disrespectful nor have I known Kira to be insulting or disrespectful..

Kira tells the different names used and is therefore being up front..
