The two are not equal. There was no lie. However, if he wanted to lie about where a carrier group is then he can. It's info for N Korea. In fact, there might already be a carrier group there already and he's trying to tempt Kim to do something stupid, thinking he has time before the carrier group gets there.

What little you know.

Then it was a stupid lie, because the Navy posted a picture of the Carrier 3500 miles away. An obvious lie, as a way to threaten someone, is as stupid a move as I can think of. The thing is, even of the lie WAS aimed at N. Korea, it was directed at the American people - which is inexcusable by any measure. The simple fact is - they all lied, it was a stupid lie - and it made them look untrustworthy and weak. Why would any ally believe us when we say we're coming to their rescue? It might just be stupid propaganda.

What made the lie even more stupid, was the fact that the Reagan was in Japan already, mere miles from the Korean peninsula.

It was Obama? So what did Obama do that was any different then his predecessors? And do you really think Trump can huff and puff his way into scaring Kim? Kim is a sociopath who, if you push, will be more then happy to wipe out as many people as he can. And don't look to China because, if you noticed, all the technology North Korea is so proud to show off was of Chinese design. And we will pull Kims plug? So we are going to assassinate him? Other than that how do you propose we will pull his plug--remember, Trump gave the Russians a warning before he launched an attack that did little to diminish the Syrian air force. Acting like a tough guy and being a tough guy are two different things and when you say you are sending an ARMADA and nothing shows up it's pretty hard for the other side to take you seriously.

Yes, he's too big a threat--so why don't we provoke him a little more and see what he does--that should work out for the south don't you think...

Here's a little info for ya. Kim could only blow a nuke in his own back yard, and just might. We can stop his missiles in the air and in a matter of minutes, destroy his launch site for everything but the mobile scuds, which might actually do minor damage in the south. Now think about that without malice towards America. Take all the time you need. Be objective. Think also about his oppression of human beings.

Go.

There are 20 million South Korean's only minutes from the border. It's always easier to talk tough when the nuke is in someone elses back yard and besides, Kim has enough conventional power to do all the damage that he needs. And I am being objective--it's you who seems to have bought all of Trump phony bravado. I doubt Kim will make that mistake though, especially when Trump doesn't even know where his carriers are dispatched to. Oh, and by the way, when Kennedy was confronted with the Cuban Missile crisis he made a point of knowing where each of his ships was dispatched. That's because he didn't want an accident to start the next WW. Of course we all know Trump is no Kennedy don't we...

Kennedy was much more fallible than you think. Truly, near disaster. But not for the reasons you think.

Minutes from the border is a good distance from Kim's nuclear powers. He'd go for the carrier group.

Trump Just Lied About Sending Carrier Group To Korea. South Korea’s Response Is Great

President Trump brought our nation to the brink of thermonuclear war with the rogue regime of North Korea by sending the USS Carl Vinson carrier group to the Korean peninsula and threatening a pre-emptive strike.

Except the carrier group was in fact off the coast of Australia at the time preparing to take part in joint exercises. Somehow, the Trump administration and James Mattis’ Department of Defense thought they could get away with pretending to send an aircraft carrier battle group to the Sea of Japan and that nobody would notice.

Our South Korean allies were not pleased by this development, rightfully criticizing Trump for not taking their national security seriously. The leading candidate for the Saenuri political party, Hong Joon-pyo, blasted Trump in a recent interview, saying that:

“What Mr. Trump said was very important for the national security of South Korea. If that was a lie, then during Trump’s term, South Korea will not trust whatever Trump says.”
Hong Joon-pyo could very well be the next leader of South Korea as the country prepares to hold elections on May 9th and determine the successor to the recently impeached Park Guen-hye.

Chinese and North Korean media had a field day over the incident, mocking Trump’s “major screw-up.” Chinese news portal Guancha.cn laughed that the “media around the entire world have been duped by Trump again!” as North Korean state-run media incredulously called out Trump’s “warning act” as nothing but a hollow bluff.

What kind of message does Trump’s appalling gaffe send to our allies around the world? We have stood by the Republic of South Korea for over half a century, but now our relationship is being called into question because Trump is refusing to take the matter of thermonuclear war seriously enough.

Trump’s rudeness towards the leaders of Australia, the United Kingdom, and Germany have already put major strains on our national relationships with our closest international allies. Trump seems to be going out of his way to offend everyone close to the United States – but has nothing but praise for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

It seems that rust-belt voters aren’t the only ones learning the hard way that Trump never keeps his promises.

Must I remind you that political cartoons prove nothing?

At any rate, you Lefty/Libs are going crazy over Trump's moves. You can't make head nor tail of them. Mostly because you don't understand international politics. So you pick this-and-that to try to defame Trump's character. Is that all you are capable of?

Maybe he'll melt.

I had a chemistry/biology kit when I was in high school--got it for Christmas. Included a microscope. So it's the dead of winter and I've got the window full open, trying to collect snowflakes so I could look at them under the microscope to view their six-sided crystalline structure. Never happened. Every single one of them melted right off.

I'm not saying Kennedy wasn't fallibly only that he paid attention to what was going on. Trump doesn't doesn't even bother to pay attention which doesn't seem to worry conservatives but it does worry everyone else. And you keep missing the point--Kim has all the conventional forces he needs to fully take over the south all before Trumps armada could do anything about it.

Kim is crazy, more crazy then Trump. When I was a kid I was bird dogging for my step father when I stepped over a rattlesnake. Just a small one but when you are just a kid they all look UUUge. Anyway, a friend of ours, who was a crazy son of a bitch, went over and picked it up by it's head and tail where it promptly swung out of his hand and bit him on the other. The point is, nothing good comes from crazy and when two crazies come together I know 20 million in S Korea who better watch out.

Oh, and if you think I'm kidding about my friend being crazy. After he got out of the hospital he was practicing his quick draw with a .44 mag with hollow points. Not smart when his gun hand is still swollen and he promptly blew his leg off at the knee. True story and sadly he would make both Trump and Kim look sane...

Oh, I wouldn't want to kick you out of his lap Un-American. While you are sucking Kim off why don't you measure his dick and see if it's any bigger then the three inches Trump is said to have. My bet is that he has at least four. Be sure to let us know once you've swallowed his cum...

Trump never set a date when the carrier strike force would arrive, the MSM (ass)umed that it was immediate, they screwed up AGAIN.

The Armada is being assembled, outfitted, and will soon deploy. You and the MSM have clearly shown your total ignorance once again.

Now you all want to blame the president for your own screw up. Close your mouth, open your eyes, and watch.

Semper Fi.
