Neither the insurance companies, the NY Port Authority, ConEd, nor Silverstein himself were happy with construction of WTC 7. Particularly because of the unusual design accommodations they had to make when building it directly over a ConEd substation. I could provide the court records (over 1000 pages in 4 separate documents) of the litigation that occurred over this--both before and after 9/11.

If Silverstein was designing a new WTC7 a year-and-a-half before 9/11, it's a pretty good bet he knew and participated in bringing down WTC7 with explosives.
It took 10 years and $160 million to demolish the Bankers Trust Building which was adjacent to the South Tower. The Bankers Trust was very similar to WTC7 in size.

I know they weren't happy with WTC7. They weren't happy with the Twin Towers either.
It would have been too expensive to demolish the 3 Towers in a conventional manner.
They found a way to dispose of them and make out like the bandits they are.
$4.5 billion in insurance payouts is no chump change.

What most brain empty duds here on OPP aren't watching is this -

1) as early and far back as 1988 there was discussion on how to bring down the WTC due to the 2 million tons of asbestos in the buildings.

2) Mr. Silverstein was awarded two separate incidents of "aircraft strike" on buildings he just least from the Port Authority - Awarded $4.7 Billion total on a $198 Million lease.. (He had only paid up on two months of the lease when the jets hit the buildings)

3) The US Military practiced switching out military jets with civilian airliners as far back as JFK administration.

4) Add the various "behind the scenes" varaibles to the equation - aefor911truth, pilotsfor911truth, RebekahRoth speaks out on 911, and there was a "CRIME" of unimaginable proportions committed on the people of America and New York, with three goals. One, demolish the WTC towers with the most asbestos in a way there would be no lawsuits. Two, make several somebody's filthy rich for cooperating. Three, use it as a guise to take away the Freedoms of Americans and get us used to a "Police State"...

To hell with the fact that two jets crashed into two buildings in downtown Manhattan. To hell with the fact that over 3000 people died that day. As one researcher put it, there was a "CRIME" committed that day and NO thorough investigation was ever conducted.. Ya, pretty clear now 16 years later why. There is so much corruption surrounding that incident, the leaders of several countries, the CIA, the FBI, the NSA would all be arrested and put in front of a firing squad..
