For the last several days, and even as I write this, a Beautiful Red Cardinal has been systematically flying into our windows, or he will sit and appear to be looking into the house. I suspect he's seeing his reflection and thinks it's another cardinal invading his territory. If anyone has an answer or an opinion, for why this bird is acting this way, I'd be interested in learning it.

There isn't enough money in this universe to cause me to harm this beautiful little creature, Saltwind 78.

If you do not do something, he will probably kill himself anyway. Go outside and spray something on the window that is easily removed and leave it for a few days till the bird finds something else to attack. Then clean the window for the next democratic bird.

Richard, you are right, he thinks he's seeing a competitor. Put some duct tape or anything so he can see it's not a mirrow on your window so he doesn't fly into it and break his neck. You know how guys are. Big head following the little head. Mike
